Oleg Tumanov is not merely a composer, he is an accomplished melodist with interests in many modern musicstyles. But no matter in what style he writes all of his songs and tunes have memorable melodies.
Grown up in a family of musicians, Oleg was surrounded by beautiful music from all over the world. He started to play piano when he was 5 and was raised as a pianist. He has been composing music for a long time. Brought up on great music traditions of the best composers of all times Oleg had very high standards for music writing where melody is in the center focus of his work.
He has been working with some of the greatest musicians of our time from different parts of the world among them were one of the best Latin pianists Chucho Valdes, a world-renowned Brazilian composer and one of the founders and great contributors to bossa nova style Joao Donato, top Brazilian singers Emilio Santiago, Leny Andrade and Wanda Sa and many others.
Oleg's music was chosen by top Latin dancers to accompany world Latin ballroom championships. His songs received high awards from ball room dance association.Oleg's original soundtracks have been chosen for several Russian primetime TV series ("Adjutants of Love") broadcasted on Russia’s national TV (1st channel "ORT" and "STS").
Warner Music and Warner Chappell are among Oleg's partners in distribution and promotion of his work. Nowadays, Oleg is composing music in a variety of styles including Pop, Dance, Latin and Rock. He is working with some of the best modern musicians, producers and groups from the USA, Italy, Brazil, Cuba and Russia.
